Meet the Team Behind Davidson Training UK Ltd

Meet Lorraine Bunyard – Owner of Davidson Training UK Ltd
Hi, I'm Lorraine, the proud owner of Davidson Training UK Ltd, a company established in 1997 with a passion for delivering high-quality apprenticeships and helping people achieve their full potential.
Having been involved in the training industry for nearly 30 years, I remain just as passionate today as I was when our journey first began.
For me, training is so much more than a business, it's about people, their aspirations and helping them realise just how much they are capable of achieving.
Nothing gives me greater satisfaction than seeing a learner grow in confidence, develop new skills and achieve their goals, whether those are personal ambitions, career aspirations or simply overcoming challenges they never thought possible.
I have always loved inspiring, encouraging and nurturing others. I often think of learners as little seedlings who, with the right care, patience and support, can blossom into beautiful flowers. Watching that transformation is what makes my role so incredibly rewarding.
My philosophy is simple: everyone deserves the opportunity to grow, succeed and become the very best version of themselves.
Outside of Davidson Training, my greatest joy is my family. My husband and I have four wonderful children, nine beautiful grandchildren and a much-loved British Bulldog called Bert, who certainly has a personality of his own!
Although I am the owner of Davidson Training, I have always believed that our success comes from the people behind it, our dedicated team, supportive employers and, most importantly, the apprentices who inspire us every day.
After almost three decades, I still get that same wonderful feeling of pride every time a learner succeeds. And that, for me, is what Davidson Training is all about.

Meet Sarah Collins - Training Operations Manager
Hi, I'm Sarah, and I'm proud to be one of the longest-serving members of the Davidson Training team!
My journey with Davidson Training began back in 2001 when I joined as an Assessor. After having my daughter, I moved into the office team in 2005, and I've been part of the furniture ever since!
Outside of work, I'm a busy mum to two wonderful children and wife to a chef who, rather ironically, never cooks at home!
Having grown up on a farm, I've always been an animal lover, and our home wouldn't be complete without our two dogs and cat.
Family time is really important to me, but I also believe in making time for myself. I try to get to the gym three times a week, which gives me a chance to recharge and enjoy a little well-deserved "me time".
After more than 25 years with Davidson Training, I've seen so many changes, but one thing has remained the same, my commitment to the team and helping our learners succeed. It's lovely to be part of a company where we really do make a difference to people's lives!

Meet Joanne Dickens - Quality Assurer
Hi, my name is Joanne, and I have been part of the Davidson Training family for over 16 years!
I work part-time as a Quality Assurer, helping to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. My role involves checking learner enrolments, making sure all the necessary paperwork is completed correctly, recording qualifications on our database, and supporting the team with day-to-day office duties.
Before joining Davidson Training, I trained as a hairdresser after leaving school, and it's something I still enjoy doing in my spare time. Once a hairdresser, always a hairdresser!
On a personal note, I am happily married to my lovely husband, and together we have three wonderful children who we absolutely adore! Our family wouldn't be complete without our two furry companions, Norman, our Ragamuffin cat, and Rodney, our Rottweiler, who certainly keep life interesting!
I originally grew up in Kent but now call sunny Essex home!
After more than 16 years, I am proud to be part of the Davidson Training team. It's lovely to work with such a friendly and dedicated group of people, and I enjoy playing my part in helping our learners achieve their goals and succeed in their apprenticeship journey.

Meet Phil Jackson - Apprenticeship Trainer
Hi, I'm Phil, and I've been part of the Davidson Training family since 2013!
Before joining Davidson Training, I gained a wealth of experience in retail management and sales. I spent several years working for Blue Inc, where I worked my way up from a trainee to Branch Manager, gaining experience across various stores. I then moved into the world of sales, working for a serviced office provider in London, covering locations from the City to the Docklands.
Having worked my way up the career ladder myself, I understand just how important training, development and having the right support can be in helping people achieve their goals.
One of the things I love most about working at Davidson Training is being part of a small, close-knit team where everyone plays an important role. I particularly enjoy supporting apprentices throughout their learning journey, helping them develop their skills, build confidence and achieve their qualifications. For me, providing pastoral support and being someone learners can turn to when they need a little extra guidance is just as important as delivering great training.
Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my young family. I'm also a huge football and Formula 1 fan and follow both very closely! Whenever I get the opportunity, I enjoy travelling, and I can even speak French – bonjour!
After more than 13 years with Davidson Training, I still get great satisfaction from seeing apprentices grow, overcome challenges and achieve things they may not have thought possible. That's what makes my job so rewarding!

This hands-on management experience has given her a wealth of practical knowledge and skills, which she now uses to support and inspire apprentices throughout their learning journey.
Since joining Davidson Training, Chloe has played an important role in the continued success of the business. Her industry experience, combined with her passion for training and development, helps apprentices build their confidence, develop new skills and achieve their career goals.
Chloe is a valued member of our close-knit team and takes great pride in helping learners reach their full potential, both professionally and personally.
Meet Sally Monk - Apprenticeship Trainer
Hi, I'm the newest member of the Davidson Training team, bringing with me a wealth of experience in retail, travel and apprenticeship delivery.
I've always had a passion for working with people, particularly supporting young adults as they take their first steps into the world of work. I believe that the right guidance, encouragement and support can make a huge difference to someone's confidence and future career. I'm really looking forward to helping our apprentices develop their skills, achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
Outside of work, I have a real love for travelling and exploring new places, whether that's jetting off abroad for some sunshine or heading off on an adventure in our motorhome! One of our favourite trips so far has been driving Scotland's famous NC500 route – breathtaking scenery, wonderful memories and definitely an adventure to remember!
When I'm not planning our next getaway, I enjoy relaxing with a good book, catching up with close friends and, most importantly, spending quality time with my family.
I'm delighted to be part of the Davidson Training family and look forward to making a positive difference to the lives of the apprentices I support!
